Managing Principal with LJB Inc. I am registered as both a professional engineer and as a certified safety professional.  From an education background, I have both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree.  I am the chair of the ANSI Z359 full committee on fall protection and chair of the ANSI Z359.1 subcommittee (Requirements for the ANSI/ASSE Z359 Fall Protection Code) and the ANSI Z359.17 subcommittee on horizontal lifelines.

As managing principal with LJB Inc., I am registered as both a professional engineer and as a certified safety professional.  From an education background, I have both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree.  I am the chair of the ANSI Z359 full committee on fall protection and chair of the ANSI Z359.1 subcommittee (Requirements for the ANSI/ASSE Z359 Fall Protection Code) and the ANSI Z359.17 subcommittee on horizontal lifelines.  Previously, I was chair of the ANSI Z359.6 subcommittee on the design of active fall protection systems.  I am the president of the International Society for Fall Protection and serve as an At-Large Board Member for the American Society of Safety Professionals.

I have presented on the topic of fall protection at international and national conferences including the American Society of Safety Professionals’ Professional Development Conference, the National Safety Council’s Congress and Expo, VPPPA’s national conference and the American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo, as well as sessions in Brazil, Bahrain, Germany, Finland, Kuwait, Myanmar, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and United Kingdom.

On a personal note, I am supported by my wife, Tracey, and two sons, Trevor and Tanner.  I have been the part-time coach, announcer, videographer and score keeper for my sons’ sports teams.
